Warcry
WarCry is a power metal band founded in 2001 in Asturias, Spain, when the singer Víctor García and drummer Alberto Ardines were expelled from Avalanch. Pablo García and Fernando Mon appeared only as guest guitarist on the debut album, but became official members in 2002 with bassist and pianist Alvaro Manuel Ramil Jardón. Jardón left the band in late 2003 and was replaced by Roberto García three months later. In the fall of 2007 Mon Ardines and were replaced by Rafael Yugueros and Jose Rubio, respectively. Ramil was expelled in early 2008 and then in February 2009 José Rubio left the band for personal non Warcry leaving as the only guitarist Paul Garcia.
At first, the letters of WarCry were centered in a fantasy epic nature, with medieval and mythological themes and style of heavy battery a bit faster than usual. More recently, the letters made reference to social and personal experiences. The musical style also changed towards faster tempos and harmonies of pairs of guitars as heavy metal / progressive. WarCry has already released six studio albums and one live, who received a certificate gold in Spain. Despite being a relatively new band, WarCry has received several awards in Spain, like all members who have been part of it.
